23/24 Harvest

The harvest started off nicely, with grain coming in steadily, nothing to ramped but just enough to keep us on our toes. As things started to get into order, and more farmers decided to start harvesting their crops. The rain decided to make an appearance, and that it did, 40mm in the middle of harvest not ideal for a lot of farmers who struggled to get into their paddocks without getting bogged. This slowed harvest a little, but gave us the time to make extensions to the site with 4 new bunkers being dug out and ready for future harvests if need be. The weather consisted of typical Victorian weather sunny one day and rainy the next but finally we were able to see the end of harvest, and close our site just after Christmas, only opening for the occasional farmers who were still struggling after the down pour.

Outturn's & The Upcoming 23/24 Harvest

The year started off drier than the previous year, we were still receiving grain from the 22/23 harvest well into the first couple of months of 2023 but nothing to major that our outturn team couldn't handle, as they were also over there outturning grain! The team has been and is currently in the process of outturning grain, all Wheat has been cleared out and they have begun to get rid of the Canola in between rainy days! We are looking forward to what is shaping up to be a good harvest and can't wait to see everyone again!y.
